Immersive Events: Concept to Coverage

Launch events, shop in shop concepts, parties, and pop up shops. The public relations team at Nylon is responsible for events; typically hosting editors, interior designers and influencers to show products from a new collection or partnership. Nylon handles events from concept to execution, from sourcing venues and working with florists or caterers to managing the RSVP list. We provide a formal event recap which includes images, attendee names, social content capture as well as discussions had at the event related to feedback or potential press coverage.

Little Greene Paint Pop Up in New York

To launch “Sweet Treats,” the brand's collection of paint based on the color palette of desserts, British Paint brand Little Greene enlisted Nylon to identify and scout prospective spaces for them to take over for 3 days. Nylon sourced caterers to handle two days of events for media and interior designers, and ran ads on Instagram to drive local traffic into the space.

abc Carpet Holiday Bazaar and Launch Dinner

In an effort to bring awareness back to the newly relaunched brand, and to drive holiday shopping traffic into the store, Nylon concepted a Holiday Bazaar pop up shop that showcased artisanal and fun brands (all with customer segments likely outside of abc’s current reach) in a 6 week pop up. In addition to handling the concept, vendor selection, all outreach and contract negotiation, Nylon also posted a dinner for both editors and influencers in the flagship store. The result was a event attended by 40 people that was captured widely on social media to help drive awareness of the pop-up.

The New York Design Center WNWN Wrap Party

The New York Design Center wanted to have an event to celebrate their interior designer Ambassador program at “What’s New, What’s Next”, their iconic market event that draws thousands of people to the building every September. Nylon came up with the idea of building a nightclub inside of the John Pomp Showroom; complete with a celebrity DJ and security. They handled everything from sourcing all vendors to check in and photography, and the event was featured on BFA for event coverage.
