Laura Bindloss

Founder

Laura Bindloss is the Founder of Nylon Consulting. She founded the agency in 2014 after working both in house for a luxury fabric house in London and for a digitally focused interior design start-up in New York. Since its inception, she has grown it from a one woman public relations firm run out of an apartment to an award winning agency that has expanded to include social media and content services with clients across the U.S., Canada and the UK. Laura and her team have built national brands out of previously unknown interior designers, secured collaborations with cultural institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and put her clients’ products in the feeds of influencers who gain the exposure they need. She has launched start ups and revived historic brands into relevant players.

With a singular focus on discoverability, Laura believes not in how people will see your brand now, but how they will continue to find it in the future. In Spring of 2022 she launched a sister company- Designer Home Tours, the video media brand focused on showcasing best in class home tours by the professionals who did them.

Simon Bindloss

Chief Revenue Officer

As the Chief Revenue Officer at Nylon, Simon spearheads operational initiatives while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities aligning with the company’s vision. With over two decades of extensive experience in global finance, Simon’s background includes pivotal roles at prestigious institutions such as BlackRock, Barclays, Credit Suisse, and UBS. His profound expertise in financial dynamics enriches Nylon’s strategic approach to growth and sustainability.

Outside of the corporate world, Simon revels in life’s simple joys. Whether he’s hitting the trails on his bike, rallying on the tennis court, or creating cherished memories with his two kids, Simon embraces each moment with enthusiasm and appreciation.

Layne Hebert

Director of Strategy & Client Services, PR

Over her 10 years of experience both in-house and agency, ranging from footwear, general lifestyle, and now home and interior design, Layne has prided herself on her client communication and organization which helps keep everyone moving to the shared goal of increasing brand awareness. She has done everything from securing press, planning events and press trips, creating ambassador programs that increase sales, and project managing philanthropic efforts that resulted in over 1B impressions.

Her proudest moments at Nylon so far have included securing full page features for McKinnon and Harris and Little Greene, planning a store opening event and US debut for Little Greene, and traveling to SF Fall Show, HPMKT, and House Beautiful Whole Home to support client initiatives

Shannon Loughran

Account Director, PR

Shannon joins Nylon Consulting with over 11 years of public relations and brand-building experience, specializing in founder-led lifestyle and design brands. Most recently, she served as an Account Director at a boutique public relations agency, leading press and affiliate strategy, community-building initiatives, and creative activations for design brands and interior designers across the U.S. and U.K. markets. Driven by a passion for media and culture, Shannon completed journalism, art history, and French degrees at New York University, complemented with hands-on internship experience at leading fashion and media brands including WWD, Teen Vogue, Moda Operandi, and Proenza Schouler. This exposure on both the editorial and brand sides continues to inform her strategic and relationship-driven approach to communications. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Shannon’s career has taken her up and down the East Coast from New York City to Charleston and occasionally across the pond. She is currently based in Brooklyn.

Kate Bergeron

Freelance Account Director, Content

With a background in both editorial and public relations, Kate has a deep understanding of the design industry from both perspectives, which has proven to be successful in her role as Account Director of Content + PR at Nylon Consulting. Her 15+ years of experience in home + shelter have included posts at Luxe Interiors + Design, where she was the Market + Style Editor, and the Decoration & Design Building. She joined the Nylon team in 2019 and has served as the PR account lead for top design brands like McKinnon and Harris and Maiden Home, and an incredible roster of interior designers and architects.

Kate also oversees the Content Department at Nylon – her discerning eye and innate skill for written and visual storytelling have helped brands and designers alike in refining their messaging and branding in addition to creating compelling, purpose-driven assets. She lives upstate New York with her golden doodle, Olive.

Grace Merlotti

Account Manager, PR

Before working at Nylon, Grace spent 2 years of experience in the commercial design industry working with clients ranging from textile and surface design to hospitality and furniture design. Grace has facilitated events in NYC and attended trade shows across the country including HD Expo, NeoCon, BDNY, and ICFF. Her experience in content development including styling + photoshoots is extensive and she remains excited to continue to explore the world of residential design!

Some of Grace’s proudest moments at Nylon include securing a cover feature for Kate Marker in Modern Luxury Interiors Chicago, getting Regan Baker’s CA project featured on Dwell, and spreading the news that UK-based paint & wallpaper brand Little Greene is now available in the US – how exciting!

JJ Duggan

Senior Account Executive, PR

JJ Duggan joins Nylon Consulting as a Senior Account Executive with five years of experience in PR, marketing, and brand strategy for lifestyle brands. A Birmingham, AL, native, she graduated from Washington & Lee University in 2020 with degrees in Business Administration and Studio Art.

Before joining Nylon, JJ served as Marketing Manager at HART Jewelry in Charleston, SC, where she ran the full PR function, securing coverage in Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and Veranda, producing 40+ brand activations and partnerships, and leading a national collaboration with Lands’ End that sold out within weeks. Prior to that, she managed PR and partnerships for luxury hospitality clients at Sprouthouse Agency, earning placements in Condé Nast Traveler, Garden & Gun, and Delish.

A strong writer with a natural instinct for media relationships, JJ also brings a creative eye honed through years of freelance writing and photography — with bylines and images published in Garden & Gun and Quest Magazine. She has just made the move to New York City, and is excited to explore all the city has to offer.

Lexi Lopez

Senior Account Executive, PR

Lexi joins Nylon Consulting as a Senior Account Executive with five years of PR experience. A West Palm Beach, FL native, she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations.

Before joining Nylon, Lexi served at Relevance International in NYC, where she ran the full PR function for lifestyle and luxury real estate clients, securing coverage in Mansion Global, Galerie, Robb Report, FOX Business, CoStar, New York Business Journal, WSJ, and more. Prior to that, she managed PR for various industries at rbb Communications in Miami, earning placements in The New York Times, Entrepreneur, Palm Beach Post, Boston Globe, Crain’s New York, and more.

Outside the office you can find her at a thrift store, trying bookmarked bars/restaurants on her beli, a standup comedy show, karaoke, hanging in the park with friends or at the movies once she renews her AMC A-List pass. She’s lived in Manhattan for two years now, and plans to stay as long as they’ll let her.

Sophia Anastasakis

Account Executive, PR

Sophia is an Account Executive at Nylon Consulting, where she brings a strong editorial eye and a passion for storytelling to every project. A Connecticut native and journalism graduate from Syracuse University, she draws on over two years of agency experience working across design, architecture, fashion, and lifestyle with clients such as NeoCon, The Turett Collaborative, AMIRI, and COSRX.

Sophia excels in building strong relationships and developing compelling narratives that support clear, strategic communications goals. Outside the office, you can find her trying new recipes, exploring the city, or out for a run.

Kristi Lennon

Account Manager, Social Media

Kristi is a seasoned Social Media manager with over five years of experience shaping brand identities, driving viral moments, and leading clients to success. At Nylon, she’s worked with more than ten clients across the luxury interior design industry, bringing a sharp eye for strategy and a creative spark to every project.

Specializing in content creation, influencer marketing, social strategy, and paid advertising, Kristi is known for developing standout ideas that cut through the noise. She builds strong, trusting relationships with her clients by truly listening and delivering results, turning vision into impact, one post at a time.

Rachel McQuiston

Account Manager, Social Media

Rachel is a Social Media Account Manager at Nylon Consulting, where she specializes in social strategy, influencer relations, content execution, and event support for clients within the interior design industry. With a background spanning media relations, digital marketing, and brand storytelling, she brings a multifaceted approach to building meaningful visibility and engagement for design-driven clients.

Throughout her career, Rachel has collaborated with a wide range of clients, from interior designers and design brands to wedding planners and lifestyle companies. Whether developing long-term influencer programs, shaping social strategy, or supporting experiential events, she thrives on creating moments that generate buzz, build community, and move brands forward. Above all, she’s driven by the challenge of blending strategy with creativity and helping every client showcase their unique offering in a crowded digital space.

Julia Lesniak

With over five years of experience in the ever-evolving world of social media, Julia brings a creative and strategic edge to every project she touches. Her unique background in overseas distribution and construction fuels her resourceful and detail-oriented approach to content creation and campaign execution.

Julia is passionate about telling compelling brand stories and loves crafting content that not only connects but converts, whether for clients or her own personal platforms.Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring New York’s food scene, testing out new workout classes, or strolling through the city with friends.

Caroline Jones

Account Executive, Social Media

Caroline is an Assistant Social Media Account Executive with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for storytelling. With experience spanning influencer campaigns, content creation, and real-time trend spotting, she supports strategic planning and execution across Nylon’s social accounts.

A Texas native and Interior Design graduate from TCU, Caroline brings a sharp visual sensibility to every project. When she’s not crafting scroll-stopping content, you’ll find her exploring the city, going to concerts, or hunting down the city’s best coffee spots.

Tasneem Siddeeque

Manager, Sales and Marketing for Nylon & Designer Home Tours

With over 14 years in PR and Marketing, Tasneem has the know-how to navigate the communications world. She’s worked with big names like META, Hilton, Marriott, Heineken and Coca-Cola to name a few brands during her time at Publicis Groupe. During her career, she also managed and drove social and PR campaigns that have clinched awards at Cannes Lions, D&D Awards, and The One Show. Her background includes a significant tenure at Jaguar Land Rover, where she spearheaded Marketing and Customer Experience.

Tasneem is all about driving impactful results, leveraging her diverse background to craft brand strategies that resonate. Approachable and passionate, she’s also a devoted mom of two toddlers who keep her on her toes, balancing professional finesse with family life.

Eliza Lawrence

Producer & Editor, Designer Home Tours

With a love for media and entertainment, Eliza brings a fresh perspective with technical expertise to every project she undertakes. Her background in Radio-Television-Film combined with her hands-on experience across diverse media environments, fuels her collaborative and audience-focused approach to visual storytelling.

Eliza is passionate about creating compelling video content that resonates with viewers and drives engagement, whether working on home design documentaries, podcast productions, or social media campaigns. Her expertise spans the full production pipeline, from pre-production planning to final edits, with proficiency in industry-standard tools like Avid, Premiere, and Final Cut Pro.
